Mahindra XUV Aero coupe-SUV concept design sketch released for Auto Expo

Expected to be based on the XUV500’s front-wheel drive monocoque platform.
Mahindra has released the design sketch of the Mahindra XUV Aero coupe-SUV concept, which will make its premiere at the Auto Expo 2016, scheduled to start for the media on February 3, 2016. The XUV Aero concept could preview a future, production-ready, flagship model for the Indian manufacturer which recently launched the Mahindra KUV100, its smallest passenger vehicle till date.
The XUV Aero concept has been designed by Indian designers.
According to a report, the XUV Aero concept was designed in India by its Indian design team (Mahindra recently acquired Italian design firm Pininfarina). According to Mr. Pravin Shah, president and chief executive, automotive business at Mahindra, the Mahindra XUV Aero concept will “reflect bold design” and “come with all the futuristic connected technology”.
Mahindra will also setup a design studio at the Auto Expo 2016 to give visitors a backstage look of what went behind the design of the XUV Aero concept.
The XUV Aero concept will come with latest connectivity options.
Aside from the XUV Aero concept, Mahindra will also showcase customized versions of the Mahindra TUV300 and Mahindra KUV100, aside from previewing the Ssangyong Tivoli compact SUV for the first time to Indian audience. Mahindra-REVA, the electric car maker, will showcase the Mahindra e2o with wireless charging and electric variants of the Mahindra Verito sedan and Mahindra Maxximo commercial vehicle.
